Curriculum
At DS.VRU, the rich framework of The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008) fosters a nurturing environment that cherishes the holistic development of each student. It is not just shaping young minds; it is also nurturing their moral compass, physical well-being, and academic growth. The commitment extends beyond textbooks and classrooms, as it strives to instill life skills and an appreciation for aesthetics in every student. Hence, it envisions a future where our students are not just academically adept, but also equipped with the necessary tools to navigate life with confidence and grace, contributing positively to the world around them as the citizens of the future.

Teaching Plan for English
During the 3-week teaching immersion at VRU, I designed a comprehensive teaching plan for English grade levels 9 and 12. For grade 9, the first week focused on exploring 'The World of Media' and understanding the 'Present Perfect Tenses', while the second week delved into comprehending 'The Adverb of Time'. For grade 12, the initial week covered 'have + something + past participle' and 'have + person + verb', along with 'need + gerund or passive infinitive'. The second week centered on an in-depth study of 'Modal Auxillary Verbs: would / used to', 'should have + Past Participle', and 'To be able to + Verb'. This carefully curated plan aimed to provide students with a strong foundation in both language skills and advanced grammatical concepts, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the English language.
Teaching Demonstration
Following a week of immersive classroom and school environment observation, I embarked on a fulfilling two-week practice teaching journey with Grades 9 and 12, imparting my expertise in the English subject. Notably, my teaching demonstrations were scheduled during the highlighted sections on my classroom timetable. (Please see the first image below).

Throughout this enriching experience, I received insightful guidance from my dedicated cooperating teachers, Mr. Naphat Charoenkrittayawut for Grade 9, and Ms. Navalak Saisutthilak, who not only taught Grade 12 but also held the esteemed position of English Department Chairperson. Collaborating with them proved to be an invaluable and transformative experience, allowing for significant personal and professional growth.
